Awww...the feeling of Christmas is in the air. Can you feel it? I can, and it's already beginning to smother me.
Thanksgiving is over, and per tradition, I put my tree up this weekend. Ugh...is the only word (or sound) I can muster in response.
First of all, I think the idea of putting up the tree is much more fun than actually doing it. And, I know it's been asked before, but I'm going to ask the age old question, again.
How in the world can those tiny lights get so tangled when they sit, neatly, in a box all year--untouched? Hmm? Sure beats me.
But, after huffing and puffing (and almost blowing the house in) I, finally, got the tree up, and it looks so pretty.
Christmas seemed like much more fun when I was little. Why does everything that used to be fun, about Christmas, seem like such a hassle now?
Maybe I was just blinded by my childhood innocence, back then (HA-that's funny).
PS- I'm kind of worried. If the rest of the holiday season goes anything like the decorating fiasco of this weekend...well...I'm doomed. DOOMED, I tell you!
Good Luck everyone.
I hope your decorating goes more smoothly than mine did.
I couldn't resist. Doesn't that picture just make EVERYTHING better?
If you answered NO--you're lying.
