Today is the last day for answers. And I know you're all thinking "HOORAY" and so am I.
These were all such wonderful questions that made me think way too much. Thinking is so overrated.
Here we go. Last day for answers:
Jenn Johansson asked:
What book/series do you find yourself reading over and over again?
I know this is going to sound crazy, but I have to answer Twilight on this one. Go ahead and laugh. I don’t mind.
What kind of dogs do you have? :)
I have three psychotic dogs: Pekingese, Pug, and a Boxer. After last weekend, they’re up for auction. No, wait. I’ll pay you. Just take them!
Lisa and Laura asked:
What is your favorite line from your manuscript?
I haven’t gotten very far in my manuscript, but here are a couple of my favorites so far:
“Just an ounce of Nair in his shampoo bottle and he’ll think twice before messing with my best friend again.”
Swiftly plucking all of his items from the pile, I rolled down the window, “bye, bye sunglasses, you’ll probably be needing these where you're going. Too bad you left them with your crazy ex.”
The laugh that escaped my mouth when I chunked those damned Prada glasses across the sidewalk scared me a little. It seems the crazy part might have been partly true; I felt the meter going haywire.
Jonathon Arntson asked:
How many stories have you come up with cruising around in your convertible? Or is it purely therapeutic?
Dang it! That is such a great idea, but, sadly, I no longer have my convertible. Thanks for reminding me Jon! : (
Actually, I want to see you ask yourself questions. It could be entertaining. No?
Eva, you’re so funny. Ha, ha! ; )
And, you know I’d do it, right???
Fine, I'll ask. Here's one. If you could be any character in any book you have read, who would it be and why?
Hmm…if I could be any character in a book I’ve read who would it be?
Hmm…well I think I would have to say I would want to be Nora Grey from Hush, Hush.
I think the picture pretty much says it all. Mmmmm…Patch. I love me some Patch!
I wouldn’t mind being Elena Gilbert from The Vampire Dairies, because she gets to be with Stefan.
Just remember Eva, it always comes back to Stefan. And that picture is just for you! ; )
Dawn Simon asked:
Here's my question: who are a few of your favorite YA authors?
I love so many. YA authors rock!
Some of my faves are: Suzanne Collins, Becca Fitzpatrick, Maggie Stiefvater, Stephenie Meyer, Kami Garcia, Margaret Stohl, and Courtney Summers.
Some of my soon to be favorite YA authors: Daisy Whitney, Kimberly Derting, Kiersten White, and Stephanie Perkins.
I love their blogs and I know I will love their books, too!
V. S asked:
Do you have any writing projects you're currently working?
I do! I posted a snippet from my current WIP on Teaser Tuesday, last week.
The title changes daily, but here’s the gist of my story:
It's a story about a girl, a boy, and what happens when your first love dumps you. Oh, and it's also got a bunch of otherworldly stuff mixed in. You know, just for fun!
I didn’t give away too much, did I? ; )
Your all time favorite YA book?
As of today, my all time favorite YA book is probably The Hunger Games.
But, if you mixed Twilight, The Hunger Games, Beautiful Creatures, and Hush,Hush together…oh baby.
I would definitely be in YA book heaven.
Who do I need to speak to, to make that happen?
Nicole Ducleroir asked:
Who's your favorite character you created, and why?
I love all of my characters, but the one I have the most fun with is my MC’s best friend, Amethyst.
She just so…fun. She’s not afraid of anything and I love that about her. I’m wimpy and I’m scared of everything. But Amethyst, she’s fearless, beautiful, and not afraid to speak her mind.
Okay guys, I'm exhausted. And I'm sure all of you are tired of hearing me talk. So, I'm taking tomorrow off. But, I'll be back on Friday with Movie Day. YAY!
Thank you, again, for all of the wonderful questions. You guys are AWESOME!
Have a Happy Wednesday and Thursday!
