In which I am very lazy....

It appears that I'm having another one of those lazy days. But hey, shouldn't I at least get credit for trying?!?!

Anyway, I found a couple of videos while searching YouTube today that I want to share with you all. I hope you enjoy!!

First: Meg Cabot on Writing (You should listen, she's pretty funny and everything she says is truetruetrue!!!)

Second: Jackson Pearce on the Imaginary Writing Process (Umm... who do we need to contact in the publishing industry to make sure this is how it works from now on?!)

I hope you all have a fabulous Wednesday!! And hopefully on Friday I'll be back with a real post. (Haha... who am I kidding?!) ;)

  3. Love Meg.

Thank goodness she persevered through her 1000 rejections. Look how many great books would be missing from the world if she had given up.

  7. Hahaha, these videos were great! I'm definitely going to start telling people about the Idea Store, lol. And I better start learning the Thriller dance because apparently that'll help my writing process!

  8. Regarding the first video...good advice but flashing that cat's butt over and over was a little disturbing.

Regarding second video...I am so tired of seeing Stephenie Meyer's road to publication.

    LOL, they were great!!!

  15. Both videos were great. Loved the Meg Cabot one, though. She nailed my problem with novel writing. I get an idea but (until this one) never could get a handle on a through line (beg mid end). And because I couldn't do that I could never finish it. Great advice. Anyone who wants to write... the most helpful two minutes are right there....

  20. I love Meg's video - I'm still smiling over how she kept showing the cat parts: beginning, middle, and end. Actually, I need to take some of her advice. I had a great idea for a novel yesterday when I was leading a small group of middle schoolers at church, and I haven't written it down. Gotta get on that!
