Go ahead, take the day off!

I'm declaring today as: My Day Off.

There are tons of things I need to get done today and with the creativity flowing full force, I'm going to put it to good use and add the finishing touches to the outline for my new WIP.

It's going to be a fantastic story. Here's a little preview:

Untitled: It's the story of Girl and Boy.

Don't you just love it, already?? Ha-ha. So, I haven't come up with a title yet. Or names. Other than that, I'm almost completely finished with the outline (well, what I call an outline). And I'm really excited to start writing again. Writing a story that I'm REALLY EXCITED ABOUT!! (I'll share more on my new WIP later. I don't want to jinx it yet.)

So, what are you declaring today??

  1. Wow I think you said it best! I also think I'm going to steal your mantra and make it my own... I need this to be in poster format to hang out at my desk, reminding myself to take a day off from all the crap!

Happy Wednesday... enjoy your day off ;)

  3. Perfect! I've been sitting here thinking, I could really use the day "off" to catch up on writing stuff. Plus my replacement power cord is supposed to be delivered and if I'm not here to sign for it, I'm screwed.

Go to work or not to go to work...

Your post was a sign. I'm declaring it my day off! :)

  4. Yay, days off! I'm having a day on, but only because I've taken the last two weeks off. :)

Enjoy your day off, and finish that outline!

  5. Don't you love when you get in the creative zone like that, and everything else falls by the wayside? Happy writing to you :)

(Blogger ate my first comment, so I'm trying again here ...)

  6. I love it when creativity strikes. :)

Love the mantra too. I'm taking the day off from worrying. Okay, maybe that one won't work out. I worry way too much. I'm sure I'll think of something...maybe I'll just be creative instead. lol.

  9. Taking time off to pamper yourself in whatever way you choose is key to being happy. Writing is one of the true joys in life. I'm about to dig back in again. I can feel the stars starting to align.

And the story of Girl and Boy? BRILLIANT!!!
