I'm so blah

I know I should be writing lots of fun and interesting stuff here, but today, I just can't come up with anything to blog about. It's almost as if my mind has gone on vacation, without telling me. Do you ever have days like that? Or, I guess in my case, weeks like that?

It really sucks. But, I did just finish questions for a super cool interview I can't wait to share with you guys! And I'm in the process of coming up with a super fun giveaway to accompany the super cool interview! So, clearly, there's a lot of super fun coolness going on around my house. Excited yet? I hope so. I will reveal said super fun stuff in a couple of weeks.

And did I mention, I can't wait to share it with you all?!

Super fun coolness could, possibly, have something to do with this book. Maybe. Can't say.

So for now, that's it. I'm going to go back to reading--sTORI Telling by Tori Spelling (great name, right? And the book is fab so far!)--since it's all I can seem to concentrate on right now.

Have a great week!

  1. I have days like that! Either I'm too lazy to develop the dozens of ideas I have lying in wait or I just feel incapable of doing them justice. Think there will be days like that this week...having a party Friday and there's so much to do my head spins when I think about it!

  2. Oh, I can't wait to read this book! :D

I know what you mean about coming up with things to write about. Even though I have specific themes for my days, that doesn't mean I don't have, "Heck, what am I going to write about now?" days. ;)

  3. Don't worry I'm with you there!! I wish it wasn't so but I'm there and want to write more than anything the words just aren't flowing like they should. Sometimes I just need a few hours out of my head!!!

  4. The past couple of weeks have been like this for me. I came around last week but the creativity for the WiP stalled. It's a vicious cycle.

  6. Yep, maybe it's a winter-is-coming thing and our brains are going into hibernation mode, because I've struggled with writing/blogging lately too. :\

  7. Yes, I feel that way, too. One of the reasons I went to posting on my blog once a week;)

Can't wait to read your interview!

Sorry your mind up and went on vacation without you. I guess your mind just has a mind of its own. LOL

  9. I've noticed that you haven't blogging as much as usual. I hope that means the writing is going well. Life is so full of distractions that it sometimes feels like you need superpowers to stay focused.

  12. Thanks for sharing the link, but unfortunately it seems to be offline... Does anybody have a mirror or another source? Please reply to my post if you do!

I would appreciate if a staff member here at www.kim-franklin.com could post it.

    Thanks,

  17. It's an on/off cycle. I was "off" for a great deal of the summer. I can't wait to see what you have in store for us! :-)

  18. I totally get this way. You could write down ideas in a notebook for future blogs you'd like to write. Sometimes reading a magazine will spark an idea for a topic. Good luck!
